Needed quick insight: what’s covered, what’s missing, where action is needed.

Approach

Structured information into a dashboard-style interface.

Highlighted gaps and mismatches using visual hierarchy, grouping, and actionable cues.

Made matching logic transparent: users see why something is flagged or missing.

Impact

The goal was to make the product not just store data, but help users understand what matters and what to do next.

TJ Matching is a web-based SaaS tool for staffing agencies that centralizes sales, job, and workforce data in one place. It enables teams to manage open positions and temporary worker allocation, track activity, and access real-time customer and order information within a unified dashboard experience. A key challenge in the product is information density, users are often faced with large volumes of data without clear direction on where to focus. My role focuses on structuring this complexity into intuitive navigation systems and dashboards that guide decision-making.

Pattern/system building for repeatable design

To maintain consistency across design components, I utilized Figma’s auto layout, components, and variants to build structured, reusable elements. In addition, I implemented shared styles and variables to ensure centralized control over visual properties such as color, typography, spacing, and other design tokens. This approach improved consistency, simplified maintenance, and enabled efficient scaling of the system as the product evolved.

I started by understanding the decisions they needed to make, then structured the interface around that. You can see the impact when you compare the original wireframes to the refined concepts.
